Exploring: Find coins scattered throughout the ocean. Different sizes = different values
Shipments: Random job offers when docking at islands
Combat: Sinking ships will drop a certain amount of coins, based on their score
Shipping can be a great way to make money but be careful: other ships can see you're on mission and if your ship sinks, shipments can be stolen.
Dock by entering the blue circle and heading to the coast. Islands offer:
• Shops with useful items
• Random job proposals
• Ship repairs
• Semi-safe harbor (no collisions while in the blue zone)
Island Claims: Fleets can claim islands for exclusive benefits:
• 1 coin per player that docks
• 3 coins per commercial ship shipment
• 10 coins per player delivering shipments
Reward is granted to each fleet member
In the perilous waters of Caravels.online, the nights can be very dangerous. During the nights, indeed, ethereal ghost ships can emerge from the ocean and besiege islands. Nights can also be foggy: when that happens, it's not possible to see other players' name tags, health bars, or shipment icons, visibility is reduced and nobody knows anymore who's who. If you're in a fleet, you'll still be able to see your fleet members on the minimap though. Be careful!
Form fleets of up to 4 players for strategic advantages:
• Fleet leaders can accept/refuse join requests
• Only leaders can claim islands (while docked)
• Protect claimed islands or lose them to rivals
• Work together to control trade routes
